The Red Hill Fuel Storage Facility has capacity to store more than 10 million gallons of fuel for the Navy’s
Pacific Fleet and the Air Force at Hickam AFB. Constructed during WWII, the fuel facility plays an active
role in keeping 
America’s Navy Fit and ready to fight. The fuel Storage tanks are more than 20 stories tall
and more than 175’ in diameter. Tunnels located at the top and bottom of the tanks provide access for
workers to maintain the facility and to monitor the transfer of fuel. A train track on the access way provides
